Chad Strand and The Republic of Doom came across a cat while riding Rattlesnake Hill for a few thousand points. Chad put it in his bag and brought it back to the Fort! Scalley, as the cat has been named, will be going home with The Republic back to Durango, Colorado. See the video online here! 11 hours to go! Keep racing boys!

During the Freestyle battle about 2 hours ago Glenn and Jake locked up everyone’s bike outside of Satellite. Chris proceeded to pick up a manhole cover out of the street and bash the locks free! YES! Check the video out here!

Scalleycat commences with over 120 people in tow! Huge turnout! Chris from Santa Cruz just took the trackstand contest and over 21 hours are left in the race! Yes! Go racers! Kickin’ ass!

As you have all I’ve hoped heard the pre-party and late registration will be held at the Satellite cocktail lounge on California & Plumas street from 6-2am on March 28th, that’s a Friday! We’ve got 2 bands playing and 2 DJs so you better roll in!

Super late registration will be on Saturday from 9am-11am with Bibles being distributed at 11am. 1130am will be a rider meeting and the race will start at 12 noon! Be there! At the fort! Or else! See the information page for my details.

We’ve got quite a few people coming in from out of town and several of them need floors to crash on! If you need a place to sleep or can offer up your house post a comment in here and hopefully we can work things out. I’d offer up my house for sure to anyone that doesn’t mind climbing 600+ ft. of hill every night that most Reno folks avoid like the plague. Worst case, show up at the pre-party out of town folks and you can follow me home and crash there!
